Hello! This is a petition to have the Missouri NICA leagues 11th/12th Grade Girls A complete three laps at the MICL events. The girls are just as capable as the boys in completing the same number of laps. Find this disparity, particularly in this organization, hard to fathom. Do better!
I believe the girls need to have the same access as boys. Please allow the girl’s races to include 3 laps. Thank you.
There are girls in that group that are more capable than some boys in the equivalent boys group. The girls are no lesser than the boys, and should be able to race at the same level.
My daughter trains just as hard as the boys on her team. It really doesn't make sense to hold them back from the distance they are clearly ready for.
I’m a parent of a current 9th grader. She was put in a harder heat with Central regionals than she had trained for with MO champs. Of course she rose to the occasion!! I think that Varsity A should get the same benefit of riding as far as boys. They practice with the boys and ride the same distance. Making the courses “easier” for girls

All these racers are overly qualified for this jump, give them the same race experiences.
