Manchester Metropolitan University:
The waterjet is a pinnacle machine of MMU's mechanical workshop. Due to a power supply fault, which can be easily and cheaply rectified, the waterjet has been out of service for an unacceptable amount of time.
Use of the waterjet has shaped many students final year project designs and other design projects, such as Formula Student; work which will be now wasted if the problem is not rectified.
By singing this petition you would like the university to agree to one of the following: *Extend affected project deadlines by time equal to machine outage
*Fund all outsourced water jetting
*Fix the waterjet immediately
