It is our contention that hiring Bas Rutten, globally the most respected commentator in mixed martial arts, would be in the best interest of the UFC. Bas Rutten proved in the recent past that he is not only capable of bringing a match to a higher level, but to also lead press conferences in an impeccable manner. Besides that, Mr. Rutten is also known to give the audience the best possible pre- and post fight interviews. Pride\'s former commentor is being dearly missed as a crucial cogwheeel in the MMA world.
