We, the undersigned, ask that the Amherst School District consider bringing back the "Comet" as the official logo for both the District, and its athletic teams. While understanding there are many more important issues to attend to, we ask this be considered before the end of 2012. This will mark the 20th anniversary of the end of the use of the Comet logo, and the perfect time to resurrect it. We appreciate our voices being heard, the history of our District, and the pride we all share in being Comets. In short, it's time to right a wrong. Thank you.
