Despite the game being a let-down to long-time Mortal Kombat fans, the idea was not a bad one. What the game lacked was the core elements that had made the franchise as popular as it was before. The new "2.5D" set-up from the MK reboot, Injustice, and the upcoming MKX show that NetherRealm Studios has a lot to offer for an impressive remake of this title. The mechanics of the new games would give us the crossover game we'be been waiting for and the one that would do justice to the original. Thank you for your support!
