This petition is for the benefit of union members of local union #491. This system is not working effectively and has already cost union members to lose work they would have not lost if the mix system was not being implemented. Continuing to do so will be an ineffective way to receive calls for work dispatch. As an 18 year member in good standing of local #491 I see the effect this is having already so I ask that we sign this petition to return to the manner of receiving work dispatch by being contacted by our hiring hall and continuing to sign the out of work book.
