Dear Senator McCain,
I urge you to seriously consider Gov. Romney as your running mate, as he believes that Roe v. Wade should be overturned so that the issue of abortion can be returned to the American people and their elected representatives at the state and federal level and is pro-life and believes that abortion is the wrong choice except in cases of incest, rape, and to save the life of the mother.
He also enforced the law that banned out-of-state same-sex couples from coming to Massachusetts to get married, he went to the court again and again, testified before Congress for the Federal Marriage Amendment, and championed a successful petition drive that collected a record 170,000 signatures for a citizen ballot initiative to protect marriage.
I strongly urge you to not consider Gov. Huckabee as your running mate, as he is not a pro-growth, economic conservative. Huckabee's record on pro-growth, free-market policies is a mixed bag, with pro-growth positions on trade and tort reform, mixed positions on school choice, political speech, and entitlement reform, and profoundly anti-growth positions on taxes, spending, and government regulation.
While Governor Huckabee's record displays some flashes of economic conservatism, especially during his early years, the overwhelming evidence of his record and rhetoric over the past ten years leaves economic conservatives around the country to wonder if a Vice President Huckabee would espouse the relatively pro-growth policies of Governor Huckabee circa 1997 or the anti-growth policies of Governor Huckabee circa 2004.
While Governor Huckabee has made a concerted effort to defend his record, calling oneself an economic conservative does not make one so. His recent refusals to rule out raising taxes if elected President-the cornerstone of a pro-growth platform-perhaps indicate which path he would choose.
Sincerely,
We are getting so near to our target of 250 signatures. Please post this on your social media pages right now so we can hit that mark before the campaign season accelerates further.

We are approaching the one hundred signature mark and I need you to help me push this over the edge right now. Please get the link to anyone who understands why we must have a conservative leader on this ticket.

Romney is the only guy who understands the economy. McCain needs someone sharp to handle the business side of things.
