Missouri Police Officer Doug Howell should be sent to prison for killing innocent dog

I just could not believe my eyes when I saw this video. For those that are uninformed about what happened before the video, I read from a news article that a neighbor called them and said the dog growled at her daughter. By the time the officers arrived, Cammie was secured to a trailer and the officers released her and then all of this happened. The dog is literally standing in the grass when he makes the first shot which is heartbreaking to watch. It was unnecessary, but at least the dog could recover from it. That second shot should NOT have ever crossed Officer Doug Howell's mind. Since it did, I think he is unsuitable for his line of duty. He should definitely be fired and doing jail time for it, in my opinion. I have absolutely NO tolerance for it. They may have had to pay the owner a settlement, but it will never bring Cammie back. This is absolutely unacceptable.

I know this happened a long time ago, and I don't know if this guy is still employed by the police department, but if he is he shouldn't be. He should've spent time in jail for this.

Officer Howell claimed he killed this innocent dog because he "feared for his life," which is utterly preposterous considering she was already immobile. Sickening people like this need to be punished to set an example. A law enforcer such as Howell has a responsibility to be under the law, not above it. .

The dog clearly was not a threat. If it wanted to attack it would have first chance it got. Not running away with the tail between the legs!
