Would this person be charged with animal cruelty if they were not an officer? This is outrages and both he and his superiors defending this action should face charges and certainly be released from duty. This example of faulty decision making by this officer is a danger to the entire community. He should not legally be allowed to carry a weapon.

Totally premeditated.Where is the cage? What was his plan? Where's animal control? Totally premeditated. It looks as though they had no intention for the well being of the dog what so ever. They have tasers if it was that necessary. So sad, he does not deserve a gun. If he cant even properly judge a situation with a dog, imagine what else he is capable of screwing up. He def is not responsible enough to look out for people.I hope this doesn't go unnoticed.

Spineless cops! The dog was shot once and was lying on the floor wagging his tail. Then they finished the poor animal off. It was obviously frightened with the noose round it's neck. That is disgusting behaviour from both these men. Pathetic.
