Missouri Police Officer Doug Howell should be sent to prison for killing innocent dog

I have an American Bulldog named Levi, 7 years old, wished this loser would come to Orlando for 10 minutes then we would not ever again have to worry about this asshole killing another dog. It would only take me 5 minutes to put him out of his misery. I hope someone puts some bullets in him

I know that the civil case has already been settled, and the city of LaGrange paid $50,000 , but I'd still like to see Officer Doug Howell face personal consequences for his cowardly actions. He should face charges of torture and animal abuse. He has no business "serving and protecting" when he doesn't even know what that means. He's a menace to society and should be punished.

I saw the video and this dog shooter belongs in prison regardless of his duty to protect and serve.... this dog was not a threat and wagged his tail during his last breaths which I believe from watching the video, Doug Howell tightened the noose to cut off his air. I think prison would be a little to soft for him...he should get the same treatment as the dog.

People who have no compassion for animals and education about animal behavior should not be doing this job! The dog was frightened and wanted to get away she was not attacking. When pinned to the ground with tail wagging she is submissive. There was no reason or excuse to shoot her in the head. He should lose his job at the very least and take the weapon to eager to use it. Neither officer did anything to try to defuse this situation. Take the guns and give them pepper spray maybe they could be less dangerous. disgusting representation of your department.

Dog was scared not aggressive, already had dog contained with a pole and then shot just because he thought he could get away with it.

Cop should know right from wrong. That was clearly wrong and justice should be served.

Officer Doug Howell needs to be tried in criminal court for animal cruelty and unlawful discharge of a firearm, as well as unlawful destruction of private property.
