There are so many benefits to creating a Film incentive in Missouri. As a teacher I appreciate that with the right platform it will serve education in Missouri. The Film Incentive Program will stimulate economic growth. It will promote tourism in our state!

I haven't done much film work but when I get cast it's a great feeling. It's depressing to see a lot gigs offered in different states other than Missouri. I would have to move to GA, LA, or Chicago in order to get some gigs and I don't even have the 'funds' to do that.

As an actor and filmmaker in Kansas City I think incentives absolutely need to be reinstated. Too much money is lost not supporting the arts.

Please allow more work opportunities to those of us working in production throughout Missouri please!... so that we can stop daydreaming and having nightmares about leaving our beloved hometown(s) for out-of-state locations with available gigs.

Wake Up Missouri Legislators! Take a look at 'Ozark' on Netflix. It's a highly rated series written about and based in the Missouri Ozarks. It is shot near Atlanta Ga. Oscar nominated 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri' also shot elsewhere. Just these 2 productions have cost the state of Missouri Millions$$. Missouri has great locations and many productions would shoot here with financial incentives. The KC Film commission does a great job but their hands are some what tied by the states lack of participation. Look at Georgia and New Mexico for example. They have generated millions more than they've paid out in incentives. #FilminMO #MissouriProud

Yes! We are for Manufacturing Entertainment and Job Creation in our state. This is a growing industry with 38 film and media programs in Missouri. We want our graduates to have the option to live and work (and thrive) in our state. We want our professionals to work, create and set up business / stay in business in Missouri. #FilminMO #MissouriProud
