Mission Stand your Ground
Time and time again we complain about draconian laws and the need for reform. With these new increased fines its time we take to the authorities and demand the restructuring of these laws.
Simple issues that we have no control over but face an immediate charge of thousands for should have provisions for a warning and ordered to correct it and have a visit at and inspection station to have the warning removed. Failure to follow instructions can then validated being fined for negligence. These violations include things listed but are not limited to only this as we should be considerate of other concerns within reason.
1 - Faulty light bulbs can go in a moments notice without warning or even signs. This should carry a warning and order to fix in a reasonable time.
2- cracked windshields can happen whilst driving at any point at no fault of the driver. This too should carry a warning and reasonable time to rectify.
3 - failure to carry a valid driver license. We should have atleast a 24 hour window to produce a valid license at the police station before being charged. I mean haven't we all forgotten our wallets in a rush ?
4- oil leaks can happen at any moment a line can burst without warning. Those should also carry a warning and order to rectify in a timely manner.
5 - speed traps should be done in reasonable spaces it's been brought to our attention some are setup on a downhill and we can all agree it may be difficult to maintain "50kmph" in a steady downhill especially if there are other vehicles tailgating you. So maybe you will go over a tad so maybe consider a more neutral spot to do your measurements. Note we don't intend to encourage speeding just wish to be reasonable.
6 - defective mirrors can also happen at a moments notice and should carry a warning and order to rectify in a timely manner.
There may be many others that we left out and they can be added along as this is a first step in an attempt to bring balance and moral to the laws that are expected to govern us.
