For standard 1, Kannada portion is very heavy, kids r not even completely familiar with alphabets and in school they have already started with 'Matraas'.

School bag is really heavy and it would cause irreversible damage to back . Shoulders and spinal chord. Also kids need to climb stairs up to 3rd floor with this heavy bag. Some resolution is needed definitively.

Reduce the burden of books for our kids.. as it is they are burdened with too much of Syllabus to study.

Ron Jose, V-i , I agree with the point that the kids carry too much in their back packs, which contains books, snacks, water-bottles etc and this has to be reduced to the bare minimum possible. Best possible and practical solutions must be reached after discussing with teachers, staff and parents. Kudos for bringing this up.

Carrying this much load for a kid s very difficult and that too their classrooms are in upper floors so carrying by stairs s even more difficult,so please try to do some favour for our kids....
