Missing crosswalk needed at Clare and Solomon

I firmly believe we need this cross walk.

If the "planned" roundabouts would ever become a reality, that would help the Clare Road situation exponentially!

In the plans for the neighborhood, a roundabout is present at this intersection. I think that would be a great idea to slow down the traffic.

Clare road in west Olathe needs speed bumps, more cross walks and flashing yellow lights. We are grateful for the crossing guard, but motorists use Clare rd as a bypass and people speed! Please place a car counter patrol car, or an electronic devise down on the road to count these number of vehicles . You will hit your numbers to justify the expense of speed bumps, lights and more cross walks! PLEASE..FOR THHE SAFETY OF OUR CHILDREN! Thank you!

This crosswalk is much needed, blinking lights with sign to distinguish would be best.

Trying to turn left to Clare from 121st is a nightmare! Speed limit on Clare needs to be reduced big time!!!!

Very hard to cross here on foot which seems silly since the park, playground and pool are on the other side of the street. Forget it if you have small children or pets.

I agree with the proposal. Thanks for initiating this effort and those who have signed up. Badly needed.

This is badly needed along with more radar enforcement on Claire. Lots of speeding vehicles and only a matter of time before someone gets hurt or in an accident.

This a good idea

Clare Road is dangerous. People speed routinely and the curve approaching 121st is a blind spot. The pool/Park crossing at Solomon would benefit greatly from a pedestrian crossing/roundabout, etc.

Too many people use this road as a cut through to other neighborhoods. They do not respect the speed limits. We live here and our families need to be protected. For once use city money for a worthy cause. Let’s not wait for a tragedy to happen. City Council be proactive not reactive. Thank you!

VERY much needed

I walk my dog throughout the neighborhood and often pick a different route when it's too risky to cross Clare.

We really need a crosswalk here. Please don’t wait until someone gets killed before something is done! It is very dangerous.

Crosswalk please! We cross there at least 10 times per week and have never had a car even slow down for us let alone stop!

I walk my dogs in the neighborhood and sometimes Clare has gotten so busy that it take 5-7 minutes to cross during peak times during the day.
