Undeniably the Miss Gibraltar pageant is the best thing on GBC. Pop your head out of the window this coming Saturday 3rd June 2006 and you will witness a rare event in Gibraltar - traffic-free streets. Yes Miss Gibraltar stops traffic. It turns heads, and switches on tellies. Everyone in Gibraltar gathers round the set and watches and enjoys. But what about our poor brethren overseas - those poor Gibraltar belongers who live out of reach of the GBC broadcast signal - students in the UK, ex-pats working in foreign climes, and (I suppose) even those who live in Spain.
