A small amount of time should be given at such a difficault time and there shouldn't be the worry of loss of pay it should come under sick pay ... I've suffered miscarriage and returned straight back to work it was a very difficault time

I suffered a miscarriage at 12weeks and I was completely devastated. I only took a week off work but it affected me hugely for years.

Happy to sign and I'm so sorry to hear of your loss xx (And having been there 3 times I'm v grateful for understanding employers so I wasn't ever affected financially.)

So sorry Jessica, it must have been heartbreaking, not quite so simple as getting over a cold, emotionally it's something that doesn't ever go away x

A loss is a loss no matter what gestation - all women and all babies should be treated equally xx

It should be at least 2 weeks. A loss is a loss and women should be able to grieve without any added stress.

The loss of a pregnancy at any stage is very difficult without the added worry of work and salary.

Having been in this situation myself 5 times (3 miscarriages, 2 ectopics) I wholeheartedly support this petition - good luck with it x
