Just imagining what talent should he have got to beat such chess legends, with whatever little resources he had at his disposal, that too serving his master Sir Nawab Umar Hayat Khan and during British raj in India. India missed its opportunity then, but now it should not.

If one had to use Actual performance and peer review to judge his play then he is definitely more of a GM than those who acquire with just rating points....I am sure You will grant him it.

Please grant the Grandmaster title to Sultan Khan posthumously. He is obviously most deserving as is proven by his many outstanding achievements.

If he beat Capablanca , drew Alekhine and won the British championship 3 times then he definitely deserves a Grandmaster Title recognition!!!
