He is a legend and has completed and achieved great strides in Chess. As a Chess player, I have an idea of how hard people work at become better and what it takes to be play at this high level . Please grant Mr. Sultan Khan his rightful title of Grand Master . He has completed all the requirements, he deserves it .

Being the governing body of chess, it is expected of FIDE that they treat all players by the same standards. The treatment meted out to one of the finest chess players of his time, Mir Sultan Khan is unflattering for FIDE and the people who occupy important positions in the organisation. It is abundantly clear from the games he played and titles he won that Mr. Sultan Khan was a generational genius. His inspiring story of becoming a chess champion makes the case of awarding him a GM title even more compelling. Not awarding Mir Sultan Khan a GM title also makes it a case of discrimination where long retired players were awarded GM titles but a humble servant, from the nation that is likely the orginator of the game of chess, who went on to achieve great things in the world of chess during his is not recognised for his achievements.

There should be justice for Sultan Khan. That is not fair by FIDE and is not appreciated. Players like him should be awarded there due Respects and Rights. I request FIDE to give the GM title to a great player as he completely deserved it. Thanks for starting this initiative Chessbase India.. Keep it Up,

Late Mr. Sultan Khan truely deserves tha Grand Master title for the level of chess played by him in his peak time. I request FIDE to give him the GM title just like the have given it to most of the chess players at that time.
