There are numerous dance organizations recognized at the Florida State University. However, the reservable dance spaces available are limited to three locations- Moore Auditorium, the Union Ballrooms, and Union Dance Room 302. Union Dance Room 302 is the only one of the three that is actually a designated dance space, but it is not properly equipped as such. It lacks mirrors, which are a fundamental component of dance rooms. As you may be able to imagine, it is very difficult to critique and make improvements when one cannot tell what they are doing improperly. The many dance organizations that utilize this space would greatly benefit from the installation of mirrors in this room. Their performances would appear more prepared and uniform and they could better represent their organization and showcase the great talent at the Florida State University.
