Our fur baby had a seizure on the middle of the night that lasted over an hour and passed away on our way to the ER vet in Lafayette. It was painful, we knew he was probably not going to make it but I hated that our fur baby had a seizure for so long, all I wanted was to help him and stop his pain.

I gladly sign this petition. This is a major need in our pet community. Realizing ur dog or cat needs urgent care and facing an hour drive to get to a vet when u don’t know what’s wrong or if ur dog or cat will make it in an hour is such a helpless feeling. Sitting w/ ur pet, worried, scared, googling things to do til u can get them to a vet, Having urgent care in Kokomo is not only necessary but gives all of us peace of mind for our 4 legged family members.

I had to take my dog to Purdue when she was very ill on a weekend. I miss having a rotating emergency vet clinic here in town. I had used this service when I first moved to the area. It is definitely needed.

I run on a pet store, if a grooming dog gets hurt I have to drive 30 to 40 minutes to an ER visit. Sometimes that’s just too long for dogs unfortunately. Bringing in an ER Bet services to Kokomo would absolutely be amazing.

ER vet is much needed in Kokomo, if our dogs got seriously injured and they had to be driven down to the Indy area for care, they could die simply bc of the outrageous drive time,

This is a must in Kokomo! Kokomo is large enough to have a baseball stadium and massive hotels, and a Chick-fil-A, which we are told only happens based on a certain population so this is a must! Driving an hour to Lafayette or Indy is not feasible when our babies are holding on to the last minutes of their lives! Kokomo needs this

We've needed after hours care a few times that would have left our furbabies in agnoy without treatment. We need those services in Kokomo to prevent suffering or death of our animals

Save first- an hours trip in pain is too much. Save, relieve pain, then we can get further treatment and care as needed in Indy or Lafayette.
