I have used VCA twice. They were great but I was glad I had a driver so I could focus on my sick pet. It is a long way when your pet is sick or injured.

I have had Jack Russell Terriers for many years. I’ve used Northeast Animal Clinic and Kokomo Animal Hospital over the years for their care. I presently have a 2-year-old JRT and had an emergency with him and had to drive to MedVet, by myself, at night, trying to console my dog, and trying to locate the business in the dark. It was very stressful to say the least. I was very pleased with their service and they did not gouge me on the fees. I just wish we didn’t have to go through these traumatic experiences in Kokomo.

We used to have a walk in vet, and we NEED IT BACK!!!! Our pets deserve it!!!

I definitely know we need emergency veterinary service here in kokomo! My Lil yorky got hurt earlier this year. Had to drive to Carmel frantic because she was bleeding. She's OK, but the stress of going, returning many times, and picking her up, was frustrating to say the least! We need someone to care for our furbababys emergency services as soon as possible!

Several years ago my little dog broke her pelvis in a car accident and it was on a Sunday. We had to drive from Russiaville/Kokomo border to Fishers to get care for our pup. She had to have surgery and stay 2-3 days and had physical therapy 2x a week after for 6 weeks. We had to make several trips. Having Emergency care closer would have been fantastic! We still have that dog, plus 3 other small dogs and 2 cats…

Yes there was a awesome vet and now he is gone! Unfortunately. But Where are are dogs record's I think Kokomo needs to stand up WE NEED A VET AND ONE THAT REALIZES THAT NOT EVERYONE IS A MILLIONAIRE AND THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE DON'T LOVE ARE DOGS!! YES I GOT ONE OUT OF KOKOMOS OLD KILL SHELTER AND HE IS THE BEST DOG BUT HE NEEDS A VET AND NOT ONE A HOUR AWAY UNLESS KOKOMO WANTS TO PAY FOR GAS!!!!! I WOULD BUILD ANOTHER CHICKEN WING PLACE

Is what you're proposing something that the city would have to find and finance a provider of this service? I'm so glad that there are at least a couple of options within driving distance (albeit rather far).
I'll sign this, but there's really scant information of what you have in mind to make this a possible reality.
