This abandoned train station is an absolute shame. If this station were opened and proper parking, cycle lanes and shuttle buses provided it would make a huge impact on relieving the current traffic congestion around Lucan, not to mention the environmental impact. Please put the necessary funding in place to get this station operational and accessible.

Having lived in Foxborough lucan for nearly 17 years we moved to Maynooth last August. I now see firsthand what a godsend the train is. My sons still attend Adamstown Cc and Lucan Educate Together, Dad lives in Foxborough so I am emotionally invested in seeing positive changes made in the area.
Opening this Station is a must.

Adamstown train station is too isolated - in every sense - and reintegrating it into Connolly is necessary. Commuters are left stranded in Heuston and the journey to city centre becomes way too expensive

More Cycling infrastructure from the Lucan estates connected to the train service that allows bikes on too.
