Minister Shane Ross must open Kishogue rail station!

It would provide more public transport for the area, improving it and reducing CO2 emissions.

In the absence of our permanently delayed Luas, we need this vital artery into the city.

Pls open this station due to congestion

Necessary for the expanding population of Lucan and Adamstown

So many Houses and apartments packed in with narrow roads .. no way to get out of housing estates ....people trapped in cars on a daily basis ...alternative transport a necessity... ..

This station needs to be open as a matter of urgency.

Lucan has been overlooked yet again for LUAS in the current capital plan. Yet we have a station lying idle that could take people into the heart of city - and take cars of the road. It's nonsense for it to remain closed.

Please open the railway station. It is badly needed.

This is vital to support the area with thousands more homes plans. For once, can we do the right thing and make public transport accessible to people in lucan. We hear about the underground dart, connecting city centre to the airport but lucan has a skeleton bus service for such a massive area.

Why spend all that money building a station just to leave it lying idle. This station is needed badly by the people of Lucan

Lucan needs more transport choices and one that leads to Connolly Station would be great.

I work on Sir John Rogerson Quay and a direct route to Connolly would be a god send.

I'd use it if it was open. I won't if it stays closed.

We are moving into the area now and would really find this train station useful for our commute to the city.

As a commuter who works on North Wall Quay this would be invaluable.

Kudos to Lavelle for leading this effort, but what I don't understand is why a Fine Gael councilor can't get his own party to make this happen? Aren't they the ones in power? Also, why do we need the access roads or car park? Open this up for pedestrians, cyclists, and drop-offs first.. and then finish the car infrastructure when the intra-coalition squabbling is sorted.
