At the moment there is no legal minimum wage for people under the age of 16, but there are many under 16s that are working. This could allow for exploitation to happen as the young person could be doing too much work and not receiving enough pay. We propose that a new law concerning minimum wages for under 16s should be introduced. We believe that under 16s should have the same working rights as those who are over 16. This way all people under 16 will be working for the same amount of money. Having a minimum wage will ensure that we all have the right to equal opportunities!

Its not fair that some kids get paid peanuts while doing the exact same jobs as older teens. work is work and it should be paid properly regardless of age.

Bout time this happened. my brother works 15 hours a week at the shop and they give him practically nothing because they know they can get away with it. stop the exploitation!
