I agree , There’s been mult of people from Mingo Central High school throwing up in the hallways ,during class, and in the bathrooms. All they say is go clean up and go to the nurse , nurse calls home and tells them to come get their children Bc he/she is throwing up. Go home and go to the doctor and the doctor saids “oh I can’t help u it’s jus a virus it’ll go away within the next 3-5 days. Not to mention If we stay home from school do to this virus we get counted absent and our parents get in trouble and we are most likely ain’t going to prom. So fr what do they really expect us to do ? This form CLEARLY said if ur child is having these symptoms keep them home but yet if we stay home they will have the DHHR and Truancy on ur ass

Both of my kids go to Mingo Central and have had strep throat and a bad cough they can’t get better when other kids are sick something needs to be done close down Lysol and clean!!!

There’s more that needs to be done other than closing schools. Changes need to be made to the attendance/truancy policies.

I have two kids that go to kermit k-8. My littles which is in 1st grade is right now in the hospital with flu b, pneumonia, and on top of all that she has asthma.
She is cutrsntly on oxygen and been in the hospital pretty munch all week. 2 kids i know of has been out this week with the flu. The other 1st grade teacher is out along with half the class. My daughtef is bad off. I dont know how long she will be in there. On top of her asthma alone the flu is enough to kill her and she has pneumonia. Her fever isnt staying down. She hasnt ate or drunk anything in 3 days. If they take her off her oxygen for 4 mintues then her oxygen level drops fast. So like my emmaleigh is one that doesnt need all this ontop of her asthma when she has trouble breathing already. The schools needs to be close and cleaned. They nerd to give it enough time for all these germs to die down.
