The popular Gangnam Style parody, Minecraft Style (made by Jordan Maron/CaptainSparklez), was blocked in the majority of countries around the world including all of North America and Europe. This prevented millions of people from viewing this video. This was due to a copyright claim made by Sony and Universal against the video. Although CaptainSparklez (Jordan Maron) has made a dispute claim against the claim made by Sony and Universal, the claim has been reinstated by Sony and a response is being awaited by Universal. Hundreds of Gangnam style parodies have been made and placed on YouTube with no problem at all, yet this one (the most popular) has been targeted. All material in the video was made by parties other than Sony and Universal and ALL rights to the video and audio track belong to the creators: CaptainSparklez, TryHardNinja, BootStrapBuckaroo and Approaching Nirvana. PLEASE, sign this petition to show that not only do you want the video to be placed on youtube again permanently, but also your disgust at the behaviour of these large corporations claiming the hard work of others.
