I have every intention of leaving Sony for my next console purchase and will not be back until they implement cross play as a whole across all applicable games.

There's much to gain from cross play. Minecraft is an ingenious game that has attracted so many players ranging in all ages. Your fan base is hurting from this one and many are contemplating whether the PS4 is the right console to suit our gaming needs now. We're a very diverse community and we stick with Sony throughout the PSN blackout, the tech support phone calls, the endless nights we spent gaming to our hearts content, and now we just want Sony to stick with us. We want crossplay. The gaming community has a bigger vaster future and I feel as this could be a key component in not just the history of Sony, but the gaming industry. PlayStation meet Xbox meet Switch... it would be a greater sign of the times and a revolutionary change in the gaming world. To say no is to never breathe life into an idea. Minecraft and the PlayStation community behind it are ever growing and it feels like we should be allowed to blossom with the rest of the community. We don't need to be bubble wrapped. We just want to enjoy the game with everyone else. I play regularly and I'm 22. My little brothers play. My older brother plays. We have different consoles but the same love for the game and I think it'd be amazing to experience it with our friends and family no matter the console. Better together is just what it implies. We can only gain from this... Sony, c'mon, we stand by you and you stand by us, let's do it. Cross play before it's too late... I play this game with many friends of all ages and I've not heard anyone anywhere who feels this was a smart move. We all want it and if we need to we'll go somewhere else to get it. Progress was never made by doing nothing and staying the same.
