For those of you not familiar with The Minc Club, it is located at 813 Exposition and has been closed for over six months due to City of Dallas code violations. The club is now in the process of applying to the City to get their special use permit renewed so that they can reopen. The Gibson Company feels that the Minc Club has been negligent in their operation. In our opinion they contribute to the collateral crime and disturbances in our immediate area. At our neighborhood crime watch on Tuesday November 17th several tenants suggested that we start a petition to keep it closed. The tenants have their own reasons to oppose this. The Gibson Company opposes this for the same reasons that they mentioned. I hope that without any coercion from The Gibson Company that you would join us in signing this petition to make our neighborhood a more enjoyable place.
