Opening Mimis in Corstorphine will bring in customers from the wider south/west Edinburgh area. Have been looking forward to coming here, it's not so easy to cross town to get to the other one.

As a local business owner this would be a fantastic addition to Corstorphine / a welcome family run eatery is just what's required.

Mimi's is just what Corstorphine needs right now - a well established, reputable Edinburgh brand which will hopefully encourage other entrepreneurs to set up shop in Corstorphine. If this application is refused what on earth will be in its place? We don't need any more charity shops, hairdressers or ecig shops.. We need more high quality establishments to bring more footfall to the main street in Corstorphine and make it a more attractive place for residents, visitors and present and future retailers,

I think Mimi's would be a good addition to St Johns Rd. Drove along today and saw another retailer saying they were closing/moving. Somewhere like Mimi's with a good "fanbase" already will bring people to the area and could help local shops there already. Corstorphine is not Brunstfield when it comes to places like this.

corstorphine needs new local businesses and variety to bring life back into the shops & main street rather than charity & e cigarette shops.

A great local business that has done fantastically well and deserves to branch out in another great area of the city

I find it preposterous that Edinburgh Council would contemplate refusing planning permission for Mimi's Bakehouse which is an independent business and would make a positive contribution to St John's Road. St John's Road is already over supplied with hot food takeaway sbops estate agents, charity shops and hairdressing salons.
Please give Mimi's Bakehouse planning permission and allow the Wee Shop to be used in a creative manner that can be enjoyed by local people.

There seems to be no clear reason for not allowing tge ever successfull and extremely popular Mimi's to open a third shop in Corstorphine. Makes no sence what so ever. Do the council really prefer closed empty shops?

Edinburgh West in comparison to other parts of the city is sorely lacking in good quality cafes. I am local but wouldn't go to Corstorphine to shop but would certainly make a point of going to a café I felt was worth going to.
