I fully support the opening of Mimi's Bakehouse in Corstorphine. I live there and the area desperately needs more business's in the area to grow visitors to the area. The area is a disgrace and it needs new business.

I live in Corstorphine and think we desperately need something like Mimi's. I cannot understand why the council disagrees.

You are obviously not greasing the proper palms. Edinburgh council should remember who they are supposed to be serving.

I believe mimis would be a fitting businesses the Corstorphine area providing a positive fresh addition to the already established infrastructure. The leith branch is a little far to travel to regularly for myself and friends and I am sure it would be welcomed and well utilised by the local community of all ages.

It's common sense that a well-patronised cafe such as Mimi's will encourage, nay sustain, footfall and retail trade.

Just moved from Cannonmills where there are around 6 cafes. Very disappointed with St John's road - distinctly lacking in pleasant daytime meeting places.

Mimi's Bakehouse would be a great addition to the Corstorphine area as there is nothing like it in the area at present. Fans and patrons of Mimi's who live in the Corstorphine area already have to trail down to Leith or the High Street so to have one more locally situated would be good news for them and for the wider community and bring in some much needed new business to the area as well as an alternative to the numerous pubs and basic café's.
