This would be a welcome addition to the area, Corstophibe needs this type of coffeee shop/bakery as it would being people into the area and they would be more likely to spend money in the other retail outlets.

Mimi's would be a great addition to St. John's Road and would attract more shoppers to the area.

why on earth not?! Well run, thriving family business that does a feel good, happy thing. For heavens sake council, with all the student accommodation being thrown up in front of local hardworking people's homes, let's at least have a cake while we can!!!

Let's get Mimi's open in Corstorphine to help it grow into the thriving high street community it should be. We should be encouraging interested parties do business here not restricting them.

Can't understand why you wouldn't want to welcome a new business with open arms when high streets are dying all over. I personally travel miles to visit Mimi's in other parts of Edinburgh so this may bring much needed footfall to other businesses in the area.

St. John's road is really laking quality places to eat and drink! The whole street looks really run down with charity shops and the awful SNP headquarters! The addition of Mimis would encourage more people to the area and hopefully bring some nicer shops and restaurants/cafes

Corstorphine needs to be re-energised and get more people to shop. Following the opening of the Gyle, loads of small businesses have disappeared.

Would be so disappointed if Mimi's didn't get the go ahead in Corstorphine. Have been to unit in Leith several times and it would be amazing if we actually had Mimi's on our doorstep.
