Approve Planning Permission for Mimi's Bakehouse Corstorphine

Please bring Mimis to corstorphine

Why would you not want to support local businesses?!

Corstorphine's main shopping area needs a boost and a fantastic bake house like Mimi's would be ideal to create a place where local people could meet while enjoying excellent food. This business would also create local jobs and hopefully encourage other businesses into the area. Mimi's has a great reputation and I know of many local people who travel to Leith to visit Mimi's- so why not have one on our doorstep and encourage others from out with the area to visit and make use of our local facilities. This would be a great opportunity missed if this planning application is declined.

I would support this application as i feel it would improve the high which is currently saturated in charity shops, bookies and hairdressers.

Corstorphine needs something to bring people in, once people are there they are more likely to shop in other shops around the area

Would be an asset to the area seeing as the one at corner of Manse Road has shut.

I work in Corstorphine and I think this would be a fab addition to the community! Good luck Mimi's! x

Would be a fantastic addition to the community of Corstorphine.

Corstorphine's Main Street would benefit from the footfall Mimi's bakery would generate. At present hair dressers, charity shops, political pop ups and empty units greatly affect the community and lower pride in the area.

I love mimi's - bring them to corstorphine

I love Mimi's!! I did my business exam project on Mimi's Bakehouse as I love the cafe and the cakes! In my report my suggestion to Mimi's was a more accessible/larger cafe therefore I think this is a great idea and fully support it!!

This would be an outstanding asset to Corstorphine.

I believe this would be a real asset to Corstorphine and the sort of development that should be encouraged to support the improvement of our local Town Centre.

Excellent family run buisness. Would be great to see this exciting cafe open in corstorphine ! It's exactly what it needs

I am dumbfounded that permission for this business has been refused! This is a real family, community and holistic business; offering employment opportunities, a place for locals to gather and a boost to the tired high street. Mimi's certainly has my support now, and I hope, if accepted, that I can support them as a customer too.

Edinburgh Planning department at its finest as usual. A decent local business with something original to offer gets knocked back while eyesore developments which destroy the local character get approved.

Yes please x

This would be an asset to Corstorphine and would provide a great retail experience.

A must for the community of Corstorphine!!!

Corstorphine is crying out for business' that attract people in & provides leisure and social activity. Something other than charity shops, hairdressers and bookmakers.
