Milton residents in support of ADU zoning

I fully support this and all other efforts our elected officials make to diversify the housing stock and enable seniors to stay in town and younger people to come in.

Milton is a very high cost town, especially for Seniors and young people starting out. This will increase housing stock with virtually no impact on the Town beyond encouraging families who love Milton to remain here.

We need to increase housing opportunities in town.

I believe that approving ADU’s is a sensible part of an overarching strategy to increase the affordable housing supply.

This. Yes to affordable housing. Yes to sustainable diversity across demographics. Yes to aging in place and intergenerational integration.

This is a crucial measure. Our town needs this now.

This is important so that we can keep our parents near us as they age.

Housing is very expensive in Milton and all around the area. We need to work to make more options for affordable housing, and to make affordable for those living in their homes whose circumstances may have changed.

From time to time a proposed article for a bylaw change is of such importance to the future of the Town that it deserves positive support and referral to the Town Meeting for open discussion. This is one of those times.

This is a reasonable proposal and should be voted on. Milton’s need for diversity in housing options is crystal clear. Please send this on for a vote and let the community speak.
