Dear Milpitas City Leadership,

I am signing this petition because I work in your city and am a happy Booster customer. I want to ask for your support in allowing the company to continue their service on which I depend.

Booster delivers fuel to my car while I work, which shortens my commute, reduces road congestion, and keeps me safe after dark. I have been impressed with the emphasis they place on being safe, reliable, and environmentally friendly.

Booster is one of those new ideas that really makes a difference in people’s lives. The company has overwhelming support from industry and government, including major Fortune 500s, the former CA State fire marshal (who spoke on the many benefits of Booster in this oped last month), and current state fire leadership. In fact, Milpitas is already scheduled to adopt fire code regulations to formalize guidance for Booster’s service in January 2017 based on Booster’s close collaboration with county, state, and national officials.

Let’s follow the lead of other cities and work together to enable this service to thrive in our Silicon Valley community right now rather than waiting until next year.
