There would be uproar if a small dog was savaged by a dangerous breed of a dog in the park.Yet it seems to be ok for dogs to savage hares or rabbits. Shocking behaviour.

This so called “sport” is a stain on the country as well as a stain on Millstreet. It is medieval savagery masquerading as “sport”. Dog fighting, bull baiting, badger baiting have all been consigned to the dustbin of history but still this relic remains because a few greedy blood thirsty people and craven politicians allow it so. The fact that for “security” a public amenity is taken over and locals excluded to allow these few a free hand is disgraceful. The people of Millstreet deserve better than this and those who say that it brings in revenue should look at more beneficial income streams via the “Green Glens” venue.

Definitely not times are so hard for us all, I’ve never seen the park so busy, all ages, the machines are so well used it’s great to see it, we all need the town park

It's shocking that out Park is closed for weeks when people need to use the facilties, go to the park any time of the day and see how many people use the walking path, it is vital for our community and especially in these times when so many other outlets are not available, we need to keep our walking path open for the people
