BOE haven't you taken enough from the class of 2016? First we were robbed of our trip to Washington DC, now you're going to take away pep rally during our final year at in the Miller Place school district? What kind of memory will that leave us with of our school? This doesn't seem like the action of a BOE that cares about reelection!

I think they should have a pep rally because it gets people excited for the homecoming game and it gets people to be proud to be in their school

The right thing to do is to bring pep rally back. It's called having a TRADITION!! It's like saying you can never break a promise!! NEVER BREAK A TRADITION!!!!!

Please don't remove such an important event to high school students. There are very few events as it is. Let's work together to ensure a safe event for all. Those students from last year were punished. Let's not punish everyone for those actions again this year. The seniors lost the Washington DC experience only to have it brought back the next year. What a shame that was. Please don't take this away from the seniors and all of the other grades that look forward to this tradition in Miller Place! Please reconsider!

Having no pep rally at MP is just an easy solution to a difficult problem. Find a way to prevent the issues that were done by a few. The other 99% of the student body should not lose out on a tradition that they look forward to as a fun high school experience. GO Panthers!

Miller Place should make their security more secure and strict. Taking away a HUGE tradition in the High School is disgusting. The mistakes of a few should not penalize the rest of the High School. Please reconsider your decision.
