We do not want Hotwire, that speed is 50% slower than our current provider.

Do not fall for this scam. Once you go into contract they will raise the price every year.

I have fiber and no issues with current service from Comporium. I can’t have my internet go down or be slow. Even if Hotwire is a lower cost I won’t switch.

This is a perfect example of an overreach by an HOA. We are all adults, and perfectly capable of negotiating our own service contracts. There is no benefit to the homeowners by entering into a long-term contract. Who would this benefit? Long-term contracts diminish all negotiating power when things go south and looking at BBB reviews, they will. When a vendor comes knocking on your door, it is OK to say “No, thank you” and move on. These negotiations should cease immediately. They are trying to sell you a bill of goods. Stop being foolish. If you are truly a board for the people of Millbridge, then at least let the homeowners vote.

Hotwire has a 1 star out of 5 rating on the better business bureau. In this environment of people working from home and relying on internet for professional reasons, needs are too custom and diversified for this to make sense.

We have lived this install nightmare in our old neighborhood when AT&T ran their fiber throughout. Busted utilities to homes, Mis matched grass seed patch to existing Bermuda and took WAY LONGER than promised. Total mess

I totally agree no group or person has the right to tell us what internet or any other type of company to get for our homes etc.

A firm no from me. And you will not tear up my property that I just fixed with sod for the HOA because of weeds.

I personally don’t think this is a good idea.
We shouldn’t remove competition from an essential service many of us use for our work from home jobs. It stifles competition and the incentive to give better service.
