On behalf of the three biggest Hibernian FC fan groups on Facebook, Hibernian FC News & Transfer Rumours , HibsPaige & Save Our Hibs and their respective members, we call for the immediate resignation of the "Hibs supporters chief" Mike Riley!

After the VAST MAJORITY of the three groups members raised it's voices in anger over the past 24 hours regarding Mike Riley's comments to the media, we demand that he retracts his statements!

Signing this petition will also ensure your voice is heard to the Sport's media, Mike Riley AND Hibernian FC, making it known loud and clear that Mike Riley does NOT speak on your behalf!!

Mike's comments, made to the media this week stated that the vast majority of fans will force the changes they want to see, speculating that could include a season-ticket boycott, demands from those who have already bought one to have their money returned, requests to business sponsors to cut their backing and a protest march. This is NOT the desire of the vast majority!

Without doubt the vast majority of members of all three supporters groups represented above agree that Rod Petrie should resign from his position within Hibernian FC, and join Hibs.Net in a vote of no-confidence towards the Chairman. We also join the various supporters groups in welcoming LeeAnn Dempster to the club.

It is however necessary to note that the calls for Terry Butcher to be sacked are not of the majority as quoted by Mike Riley. Views on the manager and assistant manager Maurice Malpas are very much split. * THIS PETITION DOES NOT REFLECT MEMBERS VIEWS ON THE MANAGEMENT TEAM*

Because of this, Mike Riley's comments can NOT represent the "vast majority" or the "95%" as he quoted.

So by signing this petition we shall let Mike Riley know that he does not speak on your behalf.
