Brandon L Johnston 18 yr old was convicted to 51 years (01/31/2013) for murdering a sex offender that was molesting him at the time of the crime. The offender targeted him since he was 12 yrs old also giving other kids money drugs and alcohol. Over 20 calls, reportsand complaints were made to EPD and never were handled appropriately. None of the home owners in the area were notified that he was a registered offender, and the offenders Landlord knew histenanthas kids in and out of his home and did nothing. Brandon didn't have a fair defense or trial. The sentenceof 51 yrs is too high in this case;It was Justifiable Homicide.
