I am a student midwife in my first year and disagree with the motion that fellow students will not be able to graduate at the abbey. It is a very tough and rewarding course and to move the graduation venue to an on campus lecture theatre seems to trivialise what an accomplishment graduation is.

Having watches how hard my daughter has worked as a trainee midwife for the last three years, the one thing we were both looking forward to was her graduation ceremony at St Albans Abbey. The suggestion that this should now take place in a lecture theatre within the university is unbelievable and is totally unfair in all the students that have worked so hard and deserve ao much more. Please give these midwifes the graduation ceremony they deserve.

Having watches how hard my daughter has worked as a trainee midwife for the last three years, the one thing we were both looking forward to was her graduation ceremony at St Albans Abbey. The suggestion that this should now take place in a lecture theatre within the university is unbelievable and is totally unfair in all the students that have worked so hard and deserve ao much more. Please give these midwifes the graduation ceremony they deserve.
