Why would we want to graduate at uni, instead of a beautiful cathedral? We've worked hard for three years and would love a special occasion, not a money saver!!!! >:(

As a past student of this university i think it is really sad that something as important as your graduation could be demoted to an auditorium :(

I don't know how they can even consider this. The heath students should be treated with a bit more respect. Not only do we have different timtables, have to work harder to achieve our degrees due to the nature of the 50/50 placement/academic style, now we do not get the recognition that other students get by having our ceremoney in A UNIVERSITY LECTURE HALL rather that a CATHEDRAL? What is going through their heads? This is supposed to be one of the best days of our lives and this is just not the right setting.

Has to be changed back to St Albans Abbey as they have all worked so hard for their degree, they deserve to have the ceremony there.

students and families work very hard to finish these degrees, to decide that some can graduate in the abbey and then downgrade others to a lecture theater is unfair. as midwives these people will face a career of long hours for relatively low pay doing what is probably the most important job anyone can do. Let them graduate at the abbey like everyone else.
