Midwifery and all other allied health professional students to graduate at St Albans abbey not De Havilland campus!!
It has always been tradition for Midwifery students to have their graduation ceremony held at the luxurious St Albans Abbey, this has been a tradition for more than 20 years years and is a big part of undertaking a degree at the University of Hertfordshire for this fact. Unfortunately this year the our ceremony is due to be held in the Western Auditorium at the De Havilland Campus. To those who don't know this is a lecture hall within the university, nothing special and in no way a comparison to the amazing Abbey. We are starting a petition in order to get this changed as we believe we deserve what every other student has encountered. This will be the proudest day for many of us and we wish to celebrate with a bit of style and follow tradition. please sign and support us, we are not the only students/health profession that this has happened to this year. Many other students will graduate at this campus. Thank you
