This needs to stop! what type of lesson are we teaching our children about caring for these animals? What are saying to the world when a state allows these conditions to exist? the USA is truly becoming more of a 3rd world country every day by allowing this to happen.

There must be people with influence signing this petition who could begin the process with Midland County to get an ordinance in place. Please activate at once. Not only is this intolerabe for animals, it is a disgrace to the image of the city of Midland that takes pride in its image. There must also be politically connected people who care about this. The recently elected Speaker of the House represents Midland County, I believe. Get to him. Like the idea of offering to help the situation with donations of proper crates, dishes, blankets, etc. i would but am out of state for the winter.
