Our system is a major part of the problem. They are too lazy to do something and turn a blind eye!! Who thinks this is okay??? Shame on them.

The law enforcement claims these kennels comply with the law - according to Michigan penal code (ii) A doghouse that is an enclosed structure [emphasis added] with a roof and of appropriate dimensions for the breed and size of the dog. The doghouse shall have dry bedding when the outdoor temperature is or is predicted to drop below freezing. (iii) A structure, including a garage, barn, or shed, that is sufficiently insulated and ventilated to protect the dog from exposure to extreme temperatures or, if not sufficiently insulated and ventilated, contains a doghouse as provided under subparagraph (ii) that is accessible to the dog. Based upon the pictures, these "kennels" do NOT comply!

Shut this place down! Would you treat your family pet like this? Stuck in a cage, dirty and matted! Out in the elements!? I see a tarp, do you really think those dog can be kept warm with a tarp thrown over them in a wire bottom cage?

God gave man dominion over every living thing and with that come responsibility. Children and animals are the most helpless of all God's creation. When God Delegated Some Of His Authority to the human race, He Expected us to take responsibility for the environment and the other creatures that share our planet we must not be careless and wasteful as we fulfill this charge. God was careful how He made this earth we must not be careless about how we take care of it. This goes against God and His Creations. When we sit on our good intentions and do nothing we are just as guilty as those committing this cruel and confining without compassion I humane treatment of a life be it human or animal. If we mistreat one we will mistreat the other.
