I've been using Cakewalk products for some 25 years. Practically all my projects are in some Cakewalk format or other. Gibson have really screwed me over (and many others!) by shutting down Cakewalk, not to mention the lifetime updates that I paid that will now never come. In the last few years Sonar was getting to be downright awesome too! I really hope someone will save all us faithful Cakewalk users.

With several hundred saved Cakewalk Projects over many, many years (like many other long-term users), I would really like to see a viable solution that will last past my current install of Sonar, I also like many others believe that the addition of this product would be a boon to the Microsoft offerings.

I believe in Sonar DAW, I believe in Windows platform! Sonar is really the TOP DAW with great history. Please help huge family of the users with the future!

In my eyes sonar is one of if not the best music production software ever made the only reason why people talk about Avid Pro Tools is because it was out first sonar has surpassed it in always please rescue sonar

Please consider acquiring Cakewalk. Both their staff and their product is top notch. SONAR is the best DAW and always made me proud to be a Windows-based music producer.
