This is a great suggestion! Also, it would compete with Apple, who has their own music software.

Please consider taking over the Cakewalk Digital Audio Workstation, "Sonar;" it's a professional-grade piece of software, and could make a fine addition to your application line.

Cakewalk did a great job with Sonar and today Sonar is one of the best of bout to say the very best Digital work station for music production.

Help us, Microsoft... You're our only hope!

This would integrate very nicely with Azure Cloud services.

SONAR has strengths that there is no other alternative. Disappearance of SONAR is detrimental to the computer music industry. I would like to survive.

Please rescue Cakewalk and Sonar out of Gibson. You can make Sonar a system like Office and Office 365. And Music Creator to an app in the store. And please make it under insider, so that we, the users can have a say in the development. You can rebrand it if you want, but please make it backward compatible with current Sonar, Music Creator and pluggin base.

It may become something like Logic or Garage Band for Microsoft Windows.
