Microsoft. Please rescue Cakewalk and Sonar out of Gibson.

I originally bought Sonar cause it looked similar to garage band, only to discover it was one of the best DAWS on the market....it is simply not just one of the best, but actually "the" best......30 years of development just for Gibson to foolishly decide to axe it....knowone wins

Sonar is a an excellent opportunity for Microsoft to support Windows based music production. Sonar Platinum is a great tool.

Sonar is what its competitors wish they were. The best DAW.
Apple has Logic and if Microsoft gets Sonar..TKO.

Cakewalk's Sonar Platinum audio DAW is far ahead of all the DAWs I have tried. My Platinum performs rock solid in Windows 10. I have used Pro Tools, Cubase, Studio One, Band in a Box, and many others since 1995. None of these other programs have the stability, flexibility and work flow choices that we currently enjoy in Sonar Platinum., Most of Cakewalk's competitors are decent programs, but none compare to Sonar Platinum in my opinion. Microsoft would be wise to acquire Cakewalk from Gibson and hire some of the senior staff from Cakewalk.

Here's a secret.... Shhh Don't tell anybody. Sonar is actually way better than Pro Tools. I've used both....MS here's a chance to get the asset for a steal!

Microsoft urgently needs its own DAW and Cakewalk SONAR is obviously the best candidate!
