Michelle Fine's work speaks for itself. I am shocked by such tactics.

The charters, home schooling and big money interests are quickly draining the funding and support away from our neediest populations.

Michelle's passion toward social justice and equity in education is to be honored and admired. The video is illustrative of small minded people obviously challenged and intimidated by Michelle's presence.

When one speaks truth to power, power needs to listen rather than childishly retaliate for being told the truth.

Dr. Fine is one of the best educational researchers and scholars anywhere. It is one thing to debate ideas. Another to use slander, intimidation and stupidity as your means of engaging. Your work is appreciated Dr. Fine. Keep well.

I am appalled at these undignified attacks against Dr. Fine, obviously orchestrated by individuals who care more about dollars than sensible science and applied research that benefit those whose voices have been historically muted (by profit-generating groups of people). Dr. Fine has been a champion for the voiceless and injustice time and time again; I hope many join in to sign this petition and express their support.

We need more faculty like Dr. Fine to speak out against the heinous standardized testing movement that is robbing our children of an intellectually stimulating school
experience.

It's time corporate interests get out of post secondary education. The Academy is about free speech and free thought. Dissention needs to be key aspect of all education.

The drive to monetize public education is amazing.
Let's not actually invest in it but let's get the political class to force the schools to buy tests and curricula from corporate sources. Gotta beef up those 401ks devised by the hedge fund boys.
