this is a wretched way to trample academic freedom and disregard academic debate in preference to destroying a scholar's reputation

Quit trying to Rob a fine professor of her right to better public education, and looking like mean-spirited jerks in the process.

Michelle Fine is a distinguished professor and has a right to free speech. The corporate reformers who want to reduce public education to testing and continue the legacy of economic and racial inequality in education must be stopped.

Michelle Fine is a devoted, honest and moral scholar and a campaign to vilify her reputation reflects on the ignorance of its organizers.

I am signing this letter because of the outrageous slander and aggressive hate campaign that Ms. Fine us endured. She should honored for her many contributions, not villified by professional detractors.

Dr. Fine is an impeccable scholar whose work is critical for all those who care about social justice. This is an attack on academic freedom and diminishes freedom of speech.

This is another type of corporate bullying! Is there a way to call out the corporations involved?

Michele Fine is an exemplar scholar, professor, educator and advocate. She should be supported and lauded for her principled foundation for all of her work. Democracy needs clear voices like hers. Or is democracy what her critics aim to end?

I've known and used Dr. Fine's work for many years. She is an outstanding scholar and this bullying can not be allowed to succeed.

I have the highest regard for Dr. Fine's work. She has the utmost integrity and does not deserve to be attacked for her outstanding contributions to credible, meaningful school quality efforts. It is despicable to think that corporations are able to publicly harass scholars and intellectuals without consequence. This is one of many things terribly wrong with America in this moment.

I'm concerned about the indoctrnation of students with the corporate agenda, now insidiously creeping into every political party and into every system/institution in this country. This corruption of students will result in their inability to understand the political undercurrent or ramifications (just for starters), effectively keeping them bound to do their bidding. Educators need to be able to teach children how to think critically to prevent this indoctrination. It's the only way they"ll be able to have a future that's worth fighting for,... America--- NOT AMERICORP!
