I started this because I felt frustrated by the local process but I never imagined so many people would reach out with their own stories about Michael. Reading your thoughts on why his experience is vital for our town has been truly humbling. This momentum belongs to all of you.

I am honestly overwhelmed by the momentum behind this because I never imagined so many people cared about this issue as much as I do. This is entirely down to the effort you all put in to keep the focus on why Michael belongs on that committee. I am just a person who started a page and your passion is the only reason this has grown.

The council is out of touch. We need people with experience not just cronies. bring him back.
Typical politics. They just want their own people in. Keep Michael on the committee!!
Michael for the committee. Simple as.
Dont let the pact ruin everything. Michael is the only one who actually listens to us.
Absolute disgrace. Michael has done more for Cobh than the rest of them combined. He knows the town inside out.

so annoyed by this. he really cares about cobh tourism and people like that should be kept on the team.
